Frequently asked questions about our jumping castles
- How much room do i need for your jumping castles?
A:You will need roughly 1-1.5m clearance around the castle for the blowers and a safety clearance zone to operate the jumping castle. Supply us with a photo if your concerned and we can give you an indication on which jumping castle would best suite your area.
- What happens if it rains before or during my hire ?
A: Unless it is raining quite moderately or heavily the jumping castle will be fine. All but 2 of the jumping castles have roofs that will keep light showers at bay. Although the jumping castles become very slippery. Its recommended strict supervision is maintained if use is continued in fairly wet weather. We do have a duty of care not to set the castle up in the rain or wet conditions. If the weather is not looking good on the morning we will unfortunately have to cancel the jumping castle hire. We don't like doing this but children, electricity and water don't mix favorably and we would prefer to be safe then sorry. If you decide on the morning that its not going to be a good day for your party we need to know by 8 am on the day of your party. We need to know by this time as we cover alot of areas and need to rearrange our runs if you wish to cancel. If your party is later in the afternoon (2pm onwards) we will need to know by 11 am latest.
- Can i cancel if it looks like raining?
We prefer you wait until the morning of the day to make the call, if things look gloomy we will be happy for you to cancel or reschedule your jumping castle by 8 am on the day providing the jumping castle hasn't been already booked out for the day of choice. We also require your rescheduled party to be rescheduled within 3 months of the first booked party.Jumping castle packages need to be cancelled the night before if they are going out in the morning, and by 11 am for the jumping castle packages booked in the afternoon. Your deposit will be held for your next booking. If you do not decide to rebook your deposit will be lost. Any remaining funds will be refunded at the earliest convienience.
- Do you have insurance?
A: Yes we are covered for up to $10 million in public liability,we can provide you with a certificate of currency if you require it. We now also have 20 million cover for parks in some council areas.***We are now covered for up to 20 million liability across every council.
- How long does it take to set up and take down the jumping castles?
A: Generally we will arrive about 30-45 minutes before the time you have booked the jumping castle.It usually takes around 15 - 20 minutes to fully set up and take down the jumping castles providing there is no obstacles we are not aware of. stairs, gates bad access etc
- How do i make payment?
A: By direct deposit or cash on the day. We will set up the jumping castle and collect payment before the jumping castle hire starts.If paying by direct deposit please ensure you pay at least 4 banking days prior to your party. If funds have not cleared you will be expected to pay with cash on the day. We will refund you the money when it does clear our account.
- What happens if the castle or equipment gets damaged?
A: The hirer is completely responsible for any damage to any goods supplied for hire.If the damage is repairable the repair bill will be sent to the hirer, if its unrepairable or not worth repairing the hirer will be up for the price of a replacement and possible loss revenue. All goods are insured and will be pursued by a insurance company if any resistance is made by the hirer to pay for damages. We would prefer to keep things simple and come to an agreement with the hirer.
- I live in Brisbane but want to have a jumping castle on the Gold Coast?
- A: No worries at all , we hire jumping castles out in parks and other locations all the time. our main operating area is Gold Coast , Brisbane and Ipswich . These area's are mostly covered in our standard delivery area. Please see our delivery charges on the Jumping castles and prices page.
- Iv booked my jumping castle and payed my deposit, i need to rescheduae or cancel do i get a refund ?
- A: If you have payed more then the initial deposit requested , you will be refunded the differance. However your deposit is with held for you to rebook a jumping castle or jumping castle package inside a 3 month period. This will be directly credited to your next booking as long as it is within 3 months from your previous booking. This includes wet weather cancellations.
